KEY to Israel's AWAKENING

Romans 11:25

King James Version

25 For I would not, brethren,

that ye should be ignorant of this mystery,

lest ye should be wise in your own conceits;

that blindness in part is happened to Israel,

until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Why is Israel "blind"?

What makes it temporary?

What has she not acknowledged?

She has not acknowledged her Lord, and Savior -- JESUS CHRIST -- has already come.

On June 2026, she will have a gay "pride" event at the Dead Sea.

Proverbs 16:18

King James Version

18 Pride goeth before destruction,

and an haughty spirit before a fall.

That's tantamount to her reviving Sodom and Gomorrah all over again.

Of course, this is Satan's doing -- a total affront to GOD, Who chose this nation for Himself.

But should Israel's enemies look down upon her, for her many errors?

Don't they have enough errors of their own?

What would it take for Israel to wake up?

What has been prophesied?

To better understand, let's see what the phrase -- "until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in".

These Bible versions will help us understand the "key" to Israel's "awakening":

Romans 11:25

Easy-to-Read Version

25 I want you to understand this secret truth, brothers and sisters. This truth will help you understand that you don’t know everything. The truth is this: Part of Israel has been made stubborn, but that will change when enough non-Jewish people have come to God.

Romans 11:25

EasyEnglish Bible

God will save the Jews

25 My Christian friends, I want to help you to understand about Israel's people. It is a secret that God has shown to us. If you really understand it, you will not be proud that you are so clever. Many of Israel's people have refused to believe in Christ. They will continue to refuse him until the complete number of Gentiles have believed.

Romans 11:25

Expanded Bible

25 I ·want you to understand [L do not want you to be ignorant of] this ·secret [mystery; C something God had not previously disclosed; Eph. 1:9], brothers and sisters, so you will ·understand that you do not know everything [not become conceited/arrogant/superior-minded]: ·Part of Israel has been made stubborn [or A partial hardening has happened to Israel], ·but that will change when [L until] the ·complete number [or appointed number; L fullness] of the Gentiles have come ·to God [or into the kingdom; L in].

Romans 11:25

GOD’S WORD Translation

25 Brothers and sisters, I want you to understand this mystery so that you won’t become arrogant. The minds of some Israelites have become closed until all of God’s non-Jewish people are included.

Romans 11:25

Good News Translation

God's Mercy on All

25 There is a secret truth, my friends, which I want you to know, for it will keep you from thinking how wise you are. It is that the stubbornness of the people of Israel is not permanent, but will last only until the complete number of Gentiles comes to God.

Romans 11:25

International Children’s Bible

25 I want you to understand this secret truth, brothers. This truth will help you understand that you do not know everything. The truth is this: Part of Israel has been made stubborn. But that will change when many non-Jews have come to God.

Romans 11:25

International Standard Version

The Restoration of Israel

25 For I want to let you know about this secret, brothers, so that you will not claim to be wiser than you are: Stubbornness has come to part of Israel until the full number of the gentiles comes to faith.

Romans 11:25

J.B. Phillips New Testament

God still has a plan for Israel

25-27 Now I don’t want you, my brothers, to start imagining things, and I must therefore share with you my knowledge of God’s secret plan. It is this, that the partial insensibility which has come to Israel is only to last until the full number of the Gentiles has been called in.

Romans 11:25

Lexham English Bible

All Israel to be Saved

25 For I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, so that you will not be wise in your own sight,[a] that a partial hardening has happened to Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in,

Romans 11:25

Living Bible

25 I want you to know about this truth from God, dear brothers, so that you will not feel proud and start bragging. Yes, it is true that some of the Jews have set themselves against the Gospel now, but this will last only until all of you Gentiles have come to Christ—those of you who will.

Romans 11:25

The Message

A Complete Israel

25-29 I want to lay all this out on the table as clearly as I can, friends. This is complicated. It would be easy to misinterpret what’s going on and arrogantly assume that you’re royalty and they’re just rabble, out on their ears for good. But that’s not it at all. This hardness on the part of insider Israel toward God is temporary. Its effect is to open things up to all the outsiders so that we end up with a full house. Before it’s all over, there will be a complete Israel.

Romans 11:25

New Century Version

25 I want you to understand this secret, brothers and sisters, so you will understand that you do not know everything: Part of Israel has been made stubborn, but that will change when many who are not Jews have come to God.

Romans 11:25

New International Reader's Version

All Israel Will Be Saved

25 Brothers and sisters, here is a mystery I want you to understand. It will keep you from being proud. Part of Israel has refused to obey God. That will continue until the full number of Gentiles has entered God’s kingdom.

Romans 11:25

New Life Version

25 Christian brothers, I want you to understand this truth which is no longer a secret. It will keep you from thinking you are so wise. Some Jews have become hard until the right amount of people who are not Jews come to God.

Romans 11:25

New Living Translation

God’s Mercy Is for Everyone

25 I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters,[a] so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ.

Romans 11:25

New Testament for Everyone

Mercy upon all

25 My dear brothers and sisters, you mustn’t get the wrong idea and think too much of yourselves. That is why I don’t want you to remain in ignorance of this mystery: a hardening has come for a time upon Israel, until the fullness of the nations comes in.

Kehillah in Rome 11:25

Orthodox Jewish Bible

25 For I do not want you to be unaware, Achim b’Moshiach, of this raz (mystery), lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a hardening in part has come over Yisroel, until the full number of the Goyim has come in;

Romans 11:25

The Voice

25 My brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be in the dark about this mystery—I am going to let you in on the plan so that you will not think too highly of yourselves. A part of Israel has been hardened to the good news until the full number of those outside the Jewish family have entered in.

Romans 11:25

Worldwide English (New Testament)

25 My brothers, I want you to know something that has been a secret. Then you will not be proud of yourselves. The secret is this. Some Jews will have hard hearts until the right number of other people have come in.

Romans 11:25

Wycliffe Bible

25 But, brethren, I will not that ye not know this mystery, that ye be not wise to yourselves; for blindness hath fallen a part in Israel, till that the plenty of heathen men entered, [Forsooth, brethren, I will not that ye unknow this mystery, that ye be not wise to yourselves; for blindness hath felled of part in Israel, till the plenty of heathen men entered,]

In SUMMARY, "until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in" means:

when enough non-Jewish people have come to God

until the complete number of Gentiles have believed

when [L until] the ·complete number [or appointed number; L fullness] of the Gentiles have come ·to God [or into the kingdom; L in]

until all of God’s non-Jewish people are included

until the complete number of Gentiles comes to God

when many non-Jews have come to God

until the full number of the gentiles comes to faith

until the full number of the Gentiles has been called in

until the full number of the Gentiles has come in

until all of you Gentiles have come to Christ—those of you who will

to open things up to all the outsiders so that we end up with a full house

when many who are not Jews have come to God

until the full number of Gentiles has entered God’s kingdom

until the right amount of people who are not Jews come to God

until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ

until the fullness of the nations comes in

until the full number of the Goyim has come in

until the full number of those outside the Jewish family have entered in

until the right number of other people have come in

till that the plenty of heathen men entered

Remember, too, how GOD loves, and what He wants for us all:

Mark 1:15

King James Version

15 And saying, The time is fulfilled,

and the kingdom of God is at hand:

repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Romans 1:16-17

King James Version

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:

for it is the power of God unto salvation

to every one that believeth;

to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God

revealed from faith to faith:

as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

2 Peter 3:9

King James Version

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise,

as some men count slackness;

but is longsuffering to us-ward,

not willing that any should perish,

but that all should come to repentance.

When GOD stirs up

 Isaiah 14:27

King James Version

27 For the Lord of hosts hath purposed,

and who shall disannul it?

and his hand is stretched out,

and who shall turn it back?

If you doubt the power of GOD, read this post.

You will marvel at how He does things.

When He intends something, it's done.

Whether to CORRECT,

1 Kings 11:14

King James Version

14 And the Lord stirred up

an adversary unto Solomon,

Hadad the Edomite:

he was of the king's seed in Edom.

2 Chronicles 21:16

King James Version

16 Moreover the Lord stirred up

against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines,

and of the Arabians,

that were near the Ethiopians:

or to BLESS:

Ezra 1:1-2

King James Version

1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia,

that the word of the Lord

by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled,

the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia,

that he made a proclamation

throughout all his kingdom,

and put it also in writing, saying,

2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia,

The Lord God of heaven hath given me

all the kingdoms of the earth;

and he hath charged me

to build him an house at Jerusalem,

which is in Judah.

Haggai 1:14

King James Version

14 And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel

the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah,

and the spirit of Joshua

the son of Josedech, the high priest,

and the spirit of all the remnant of the people;

and they came and did work

in the house of the Lord of hosts,

their God,

But what does "stirred up" really mean?

Let's have a look, through different Bible versions of the four sets of verses above:

1 Kings 11:14

Complete Jewish Bible

14 Then Adonai raised up an adversary against Shlomo, Hadad the Edomi, of the royal line of Edom.

2 Chronicles 21:16

Easy-to-Read Version

16 The Lord caused the Philistines and the Arabs living near the Ethiopians to be angry with Jehoram.

Ezra 1:1

Expanded Bible

Cyrus Helps the Captives Return

1 In the first year Cyrus was king of Persia [C 539 bc], the Lord ·caused [L stirred up the spirit of] Cyrus to send an announcement to his whole kingdom and to put it in writing. This happened so the Lord’s ·message [prophecy; L word] ·spoken by [L by the mouth of] Jeremiah would ·come true [be fulfilled]. He wrote:

Haggai 1:14

International Children’s Bible

14 The Lord made Zerubbabel and Joshua excited about building the Temple. Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel was the governor of Judah. Joshua son of Jehozadak was the high priest. The Lord made all the rest of the people who were left alive excited, too. They came and worked on the Temple of their God, the Lord of heaven’s armies.

In SUMMARY, "stirred up" means:

raised up

caused

made

It you want to incur GOD's pleasure, all you need to do is obey His commands.

The LORD is fair, just, and merciful.

1 John 5:3

King James Version

3 For this is the love of God,

that we keep his commandments:

and his commandments are not grievous.

After all, He always loves, and protects you.

GOD will never do anything to harm you.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

King James Version

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,

and is profitable for doctrine,

for reproof,

for correction,

for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect,

thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Harm only happens when we bring it upon ourselves.

Through our hard-heartedness, or disobedience.

Better to be on GOD's side.

As Israel only knows too well.

Except we humans, always test the patience of GOD.

His Son, JESUS, already showed the way to obedience.

Philippians 2:8

King James Version

8 And being found in fashion as a man,

he humbled himself,

and became obedient unto death,

even the death of the cross.

The true born again loves obeying GOD.

He will never trust his own mind.

GOD's will becomes his will.

Inner peace results from that.

All these, the HOLY SPIRIT teaches us.

Lastly, take note of this verse:

Deuteronomy 32:21

King James Version

21 They have moved me to jealousy

with that which is not God;

they have provoked me to anger with their vanities:

and I will move them to jealousy

with those which are not a people;

I will provoke them to anger

with a foolish nation.

"I will move them to jealousy"

"I will provoke them to anger"

That's what GOD can do.

Especially for those who refuse to heed His commands.

I would never want to challenge GOD.

He is my Father, and I obey Him alone.

I delight in serving Him, as I serve you.

As JESUS did, showing us the Way.

FULLNESS of CHRIST

 John 1:16

King James Version

16 And of his fulness have all we received,

and grace for grace.

The Bible speaks of many instances of "fulness".

And that, we shall explore through a series of articles.

In this first part, we focus on the "fullness of CHRIST".

What is this "fulness" we have all "received"?

(and we beheld his glory,

the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)

RESPECTING GOD's Name

 Exodus 20:7

King James Version

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain;

for the Lord will not hold him guiltless

that taketh his name in vain.

I was taught that commandment since I was a kid, many decades ago.

Only thing is, no Catholic school teacher ever expounded on it.

What did "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain" really mean?

Mercifully, GOD made me born again 41 months ago.

Now, I can turn to SPIRIT and SCRIPTURE for an explanation.

These Bible versions reveal more:

Exodus 20:7

Amplified Bible

7 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain [that is, irreverently, in false affirmations or in ways that impugn the character of God]; for the Lord will not hold guiltless nor leave unpunished the one who [a]takes His name in vain [disregarding its reverence and its power].

Exodus 20:7
