The Word AMEN

Revelation 3:14

King James Version

14 And unto the angel

of the church of the Laodiceans write;

These things saith the Amen,

Oftentimes, we take things for granted.

After a prayer, we say "Amen".

But do we really know what it means?

And the power He has.

In SUMMARY, we learn these things:

"Amen" is Hebrew for "so be it".

JESUS is "The Amen".

He is that "faithful witness":

Revelation 1:5

King James Version

5 And from Jesus Christ,

who is the faithful witness,

and the first begotten of the dead,

and the prince of the kings of the earth.

Unto him that loved us,

and washed us from our sins

in his own blood,

We also learn about JESUS, "The Amen", and His power:

the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God

the Amen, the trusted and faithful and true Witness, the [b]Beginning and Origin of God’s creation

the Amen, the trusty and faithful and true Witness, the Origin and Beginning and Author of God’s creation

the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the Ruler of God’s creation

the Amen,[a] the faithful and true witness, the ruler of all that God has made

The Amen [C Hebrew for “so be it”; here referring to Jesus]*, the faithful and true witness, ·the ruler of all God has made [1:5; Prov. 8:30–31; C the resurrected Jesus], says this [L these things]

The amen, the witness who is faithful and true, the source of God’s creation, says

the Amen, the faithful and true witness, who is the origin[a] of all that God has created

The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Originator[a] of God’s creation

The Amen[a] is the One who is the faithful and true witness. He is the ruler of all that God has made

the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation

from the one who stands firm,[a] the faithful and true Witness of all that is or was or evermore shall be, the primeval source of God’s creation

God’s Yes, the Faithful and Accurate Witness, the First of God’s creation

The Amen,[a] the faithful and true witness, the ruler of all God has made

Jesus, who is the Amen. What he speaks is faithful and true. He rules over what God has created

The One Who says, Let it be so, the One Who is faithful, the One Who tells what is true, the One Who made everything in God’s world

the Omein, the Ed HaNe’eman (the Faithful Witness) who is also HaEmes, the Reshit of the Bri’at Hashem

the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Originator of God’s creation

the one whose name is Truth. What he says can be trusted. He is the one who began all that God made

the Amen, the witness -- the faithful and true -- the chief of the creation of God

NOW, everytime we say "Amen" after a prayer, we know it's JESUS we are referring to.

That, through His Name, His Power, it becomes "so be it".

Never shall we take "AMEN" for granted again.

With every "Amen", we are treading sacred ground.

This time, we say it reverently.

All these, SPIRIT taught me.

NOTE: SPIRIT first alerted me to "The Amen" being a person when we wrote this post in 2021. Now, we know for sure Who He Really Is.
